For the Stargazers..
Did you catch it?
I find solace in stargazing. A total eclipse of the moon is just icing on the cake. It reminds me of my humanity, my immortality, and puts me in my rightful place in the most gently humbling manner. Any takers?

I had the most enjoyable summer a few years ago when I borrowed a 5″ Celestron telescope from a friend. I would go out in the backyard, set the scope up on the picnic table and sit there for an hour or so gazing at the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. I agree with you about the spitituality of seeing such objects in space. Imagine what the astronauts feel actually being up there, above the obscuring atmosphere, seeing with the naked eye the true magnificence of creation!
